Parental Control
 How to lock channels, ratings and/or times:
- Display the settings menu on the Digital Converter Interactive Guide by pressing MENU twice.
- Use the Up/Down arrow keys to highlight the Parental Control/Locking Status preference.
- Press the right arrow key and select "On." Enter your PIN or follow the PIN SetUp Instructions on the screen. Note your Pin for future use.
- Now choose what you would like restricted. Highlight the Locked Channels, Locked Ratings, and/or Locked Time options. Press the right arrow key and enter your PIN.
- Use the Left/Right Arrow Keys to enter/exit the various settings.
- Press Up/Down Arrow Keys and the OK/Select Key to change items.
 How to Prevent Unauthorized Purchases:
Setting Parental Control may not block unauthorized purchases from being made. Therefore, a Purchase PIN needs to be set up. This will need to be set up within the Digital Converter Interactive Program Guide and not the On Demand Program Guide.
- Display the Settings Menu on the Digital Converter Interactive Guide by pressing "Menu" twice.
- Use the Up/Down Arrow keys to highlight the "Purchase PIN" preference and press "Select" or "Ok."
- The options to Enable or Disable will appear. Highlight and select "Enable."
- At this time, you will be asked to "Set PIN."
- Enter the PIN code of your choice.
- Enter the PIN code again to confirm.
- A box will appear saying, "All PURCHASING now requires PIN entry."
- Press "A" for ok.
- Your Purchase PIN is now enabled and all purchases will require a PIN entry.
